    Privacy policy

The protection of your personal data is very important to us. We make every effort to handle your personal data as carefully as we would like to be treated by all online shops we shop at. It goes without saying that we strictly adhere to the rules of the applicable data protection laws.

In the following statement we will give you an overview of what data we and our partners collect from you when using our online shop and our online services and how the protection of this data is guaranteed. We have taken great care to present this information in a comprehensible and well-structured manner. Should you nevertheless have any questions, we will of course be happy to answer them.

The responsible body for the collection, processing and use of your personal data is Centerboard Holdings Inc. 4700 Millenia Boulevard, Suite 175, Orlando, FL 32839, USA.

    Basic information

    Data encryption

In order to prevent loss or misuse of the data we have collected and stored, we take extensive technical and operational security precautions which are regularly reviewed and adapted to technological progress. The entire use of our site and, of course, every order transaction is processed using the best commercially available encryption method at present (128-bit Secure Socket Layer). This encryption ensures that no information about the use of our online offer can be passed on to unauthorized third parties. You can easily tell whether an individual page of our website is being transmitted in encrypted form by the closed display of the key or lock symbol in the status or address bar of your browser.

    Data transfer to third parties

We will never pass on your personal data to third parties without your express consent, which can be revoked at any time - exceptions to this principle are listed and justified in the appropriate places further down in this declaration. In the few cases of data transfer, the scope of the personal data transferred is limited to the required minimum. However, we must reserve the right to disclose personal data to third parties if we are legally obliged to do so or if such disclosure is necessary to protect our rights or the rights of third parties.

    Right of access to information

You have a right to free information about your data stored with us as well as a right to correction, blocking or deletion of this data, provided that no legal regulations stand in the way.

Data collection during the use of our website

You can use our website without providing any personal information.

    Use of "cookies

We use so-called "cookies" on our website to make shopping at herbano.com as attractive as possible and to enable the use of certain functions (e.g. to store a product in your shopping cart and to save your preferred country selection). Most of the cookies we use are deleted from your hard drive at the end of the browser session (i.e. as soon as you close your browser). Other cookies remain on your computer and thus enable us to recognize it the next time you visit us. Cookies are small text files that are sent to your computer by our web server and do not contain any personal data.

Cookies cannot damage your computer and can be viewed and deleted by you at any time. You can find instructions for this in the help function of your browser. You can prevent the installation of cookies by making the appropriate setting in your browser. In this case, however, you will not be able to use all the functions of our website to their full extent.

In the following, we would like to introduce you to our partner companies that use cookies and/or collect usage data in addition to ourselves on our website.

    Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. ("Google") with headquarters at 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google Analytics also uses cookies (see above). The information generated by these cookies about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of our website, compiling reports on website activity for us and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf.

You can find the privacy policy of Google at http://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy. You can prevent Google from recording the use of our website by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

    Facebook

Our website uses so-called "social plugins" ("plugins") from the social network Facebook, which is operated by Facebook Inc, 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA ("Facebook"). The plugins are marked with a Facebook logo. An overview of the Facebook plugins and their appearance can be found here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins.

Our website also uses the "Custom Audiences" remarketing feature of Facebook. This function is used to present visitors to our website with usage-related advertisements ("Facebook Ads") as part of their visit to the social network Facebook. For this purpose, the remarketing tag of Facebook was implemented on this website.

When you call up a page on our website that contains a plugin or a remarketing tag from Facebook, your browser connects to Facebook's servers in the USA. This informs Facebook that your browser has called up the corresponding page on our website. If you are logged in to Facebook, Facebook can immediately assign the visit to our website to your Facebook user account. If you interact with the plugins, for example by clicking the "Like" button, this information is also transmitted to a Facebook server and stored there. This information can be published on your Facebook profile.

You can find more detailed information on the collection and use of data by Facebook as well as on your rights and options for protecting your privacy in this regard in Facebook's privacy policy at https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy. You can deactivate the display of usage-related advertisements on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/settings/?tab=ads#_=_. (You must be logged in to Facebook to do this). If you do not want Facebook to directly assign the data collected via our website to your Facebook user account, you must log out of Facebook before visiting our website. You can completely prevent the loading of the Facebook plugins as well as the Facebook remarketing tags with add-ons for your browser, e.g. with the "Facebook Blocker" from webgraph, inc. (http://webgraph.com/resources/facebookblocker/).

    Klaviyo

We use the services of Klaviyo, Inc., 60 South Street, Suite 910, Boston, Massachusetts 02111, USA ("Klaviyo") to analyse user behaviour in our webshop for our own advertising and market research purposes. Klaviyo also uses cookies (see above) and can link your behaviour in our web shop with your personal data, provided that you have registered for our newsletter, created a customer account or gone through an order process in our web shop. You can find Klaviyo's privacy policy at https://www.klaviyo.com/privacy.

Data collection during the ordering process

During the ordering process we collect and store personal data (in particular first and last name, address, telephone number and e-mail address). This data is primarily used to process your order and to contact you in direct connection with your order. For the purpose of delivering your order, we pass on your personal data to the delivery service commissioned with the delivery.

In addition to processing your data to process your order as well as a possible return shipment, we also use the data collected during the ordering process to communicate with you in postal marketing campaigns, if necessary, and to conduct internal market research. In addition, for the purpose of customer profiling for our own advertising and market research purposes, we pass on personal data during the ordering process to our partner company Klaviyo, Inc., 60 South Street, Suite 910, Boston, Massachusetts 02111, USA. The relevant privacy policy of our partner Klaviyo, Inc. can be found here: https://www.klaviyo.com/privacy

You can object to the use of your personal data for the aforementioned advertising and market research purposes at any time without incurring any costs other than the transmission costs according to the basic rates. A notification by post or by e-mail to the contact address mentioned above is sufficient for this purpose.

    On payment

    Via Paypal

If you pay for your order via Paypal, your Paypal access data is not collected, stored or processed by us, but exclusively by our partner PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg ("Paypal"). All information regarding the payment data stored in your Paypal user account remains with Paypal and is not transmitted to us.

Data collection during registration for our newsletter

If you register for our newsletter, we will store and use your e-mail address and other personal data (e.g. your name) for the purpose of our own e-mail advertising. We will not pass on your e-mail address or any other data that may be collected during newsletter registration or when using our newsletter to third parties. The only exception to this is our partner company Klaviyo, Inc., 60 South Street, Suite 910, Boston, Massachusetts 02111, USA, which is responsible for the technical processing of the e-mail dispatch.

The relevant data protection declaration of our partner Klaviyo, Inc. can be found here: https://www.klaviyo.com/privacy

You can informally revoke your consent to the promotional use of your e-mail address at any time (e.g. by sending an e-mail), or via a link called "Unsubscribe from newsletter", which is included in all promotional e-mails sent by us. This revocation is of course without incurring any costs other than the transmission costs according to basic tariffs.

Data collection when filling out contact forms

We provide various forms on our websites with which you can send us a personal message. All data that you fill in the form fields will be transmitted directly to us, will not be passed on to third parties and will not be used for advertising purposes.

Contact forms on our website can be used with the invisible reCAPTCHA service of Google Inc. ("Google") located at 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. This service prevents our contact forms from being automatically filled out by computer programs. The use of our contact forms is therefore also subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Use , which you agree to by using our contact forms.
